Our family moved into our new-construction home in the winter of 2017. Our little family of my husband and I, our young son, and dog, live in my hometown of Champaign, Illinois. Day by day and month by month we’ve been working to transform each space from builder-grade to unique and our own. While I don’t have any formal training in interior design, I consider myself a decor enthusiast with a creative mind and a natural eye for aesthetics. Professionally, I specialize in social media marketing while staying home with our son. I also find joy in photography and organization in all aspects of life. I truly enjoy every part of decorating a home, aiming to make it function well and look great.

I started an Instagram account (@thewhitespacehome) for family and friends to follow along with our new house progress. It’s grown faster than I could have imagined and I love the community I’m able to be a part of there.
